Harambe - An African American Cultural Gala-Fundraiser Luncheon (AACT)
The African American Cultures and Traditions Program (AACT) is having their first fundraiser. This year it is called Harambe - An African American Cultural Gala. This fundraiser gala is organized to help bring in the best cultural teachers available for the youth summer camp as well as offset some material cost. The summer camp enhances the knowledge of the African American people through music, dance, art, food, song, poetry and drama. Youths also learn about inspirational leaders both modern and historical . This fundraiser event will also present the first TrailBlazer Award which recognizes local leaders in their area of expertise. A catered lunch is provided as well as entertainment by local cultural artist.
