"The Living Breath of Wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ" Indigenous Ways of Knowing Cultural Food Practices and Ecological Knowledge Summit
Join us for the "The Living Breath of wǝɫǝbʔaltxw: Indigenous Ways of Knowing Cultural Food Practices and Ecological Knowledge" Summit. This year we have invited a panel of dedicated individuals to a one-day summit to share their knowledge, experience and expertise on tribal food sovereignty initiatives, food justice and security, traditional foods and health, and indigenous foods systems and global climate change. We invite all of you who hold these issues dear to join in this important conversation. Your voice is welcome. Confirmed roundtable panelists include Valerie Segrest, Micah McCarty, Nitanis Desjarlais, Glen Pinkham, Lawrence Curley, Jeff Corntassel and Hokulani Aikau.
