Safe Guarding Your Home
The Lafayette Police Department is providing FREE training to the public on protecting your home and property from burglaries, vandalism, thefts and potential intruders.

This will take place at the Lafayette Police Training Center and will be presented by our Crime Prevention Specialist/ Cecil Johnson who has attended many training classes on home protection and has a wealth of experience as a Detective in apprehending and interviewing burglars and other criminals.

You will definitely look at your home differently and be better prepared against criminals that look for easy targets in our community.

Question: Is Safe Guarding Your Home really sold out...I wanted so much to attend this class. Gretchen Gobble
Answer: Yes I am sorry but we will offer it again. My training center has limited seating to be comfortable.
 
Question: The first email for protecting your home and property, etc. stated 5:30pm, and this form says it starts at 6pm.
Answer: It will start at 5:30. It was an error. Sorry
