Baby with the Bathwater

Fury Theatre warmly invites you to laugh your winter blues away at Indian Boundary Park with Baby with the Bathwater, by Tony Award Winning Playwright Christopher Durang (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Beyond Therapy).

This early dark and wickedly demented comedy lays bare the difficulties of parenting and how twisted and hilarious childhood is! Helen and John, gazing proudly at their new baby are disheartened that it doesn't speak English. Too polite and drunk to check its sex, they decide it's a girl and name him Daisy. Several years and interventions later, Durang's twisted characters negotiate the fine line between satire and truth as Daisy struggles not to repeat their calamitous and nonsensical mistakes!
