We are happy to introduce our partner for the 2nd monthly Beer Pairing Dinner at 180 @ the DRB. &nbsp;This month we are pairing up with Founders Brewing Co. from Grand Rapids, MI. <BR><BR>Established in 1997, the Founders Family, a group of passionate beer enthusiasts, has grown around this simple philosophy: "We don't brew beer for the masses. Instead, our beers are crafted for a chosen few, a small cadre of renegades and rebels who enjoy a beer that pushes the limits of what is commonly accepted as taste. In short, we make beer for people like us."<BR><BR>Founders has been ranked in the top breweries in the world by Ratebeer.com for the last five years, and have several beers listed in the top one hundred beers of the world on Beeradvocate.com. They have won six World Beer Cup medals, four European Beer Star medals and three Great American Beer Festival medals, thirteen medals total across eight different beers. <BR><BR>The theme of the menu is OFF THE GRILL. You will have the opportunity to have 5 courses, including a dessert, which will each be paired up with a different Founders beer.<BR><BR>Menu for the OFF THE GRILL beer pairing dinner:<BR><BR>1st Course - Grilled Truffled Scallop - coconut corn chive<BR>PAIRED - Founders Pale Ale<BR><BR>2nd Course - Grilled Pork Tenderloin - brandy liquored fennel apples - buttered sous vide baby carrot - jalapeño<BR>PAIRED - Founders Centennial IPA<BR><BR>3rd Course - Scotch Ale Glazed Baby Back Ribs - grilled honey garlic polenta<BR><BR>PAIRED - Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale<BR>4th Course - Grilled Flap Steak - foie gras butter - parsnip puree<BR><BR>PAIRED - Founders Black Rye<BR>5th Course - Grilled Maple Bacon Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream<BR>PAIRED - Founders Porter<BR><BR>There will be a seating at 5:30pm and once that seating is filled we will open up a second seating at 8:30pm. &nbsp;Cost for the event is $70+tax/pp. &nbsp;This includes 5 food courses with beer pairing.
