Audubon Naturalists Day Camp (Grades 3-4)
Audubon provides our younger campers with an opportunity to experience nature through hands-on activities that teach appreciation and respect. Campers will become familiar with animals and plants that live here at the Bent of the River, as well as their own backyards, during daily hikes. Afternoons will include story time, games and a daily project. Camp Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM- 4 PM
June 29 - July 2 Wet n' Wild
If you like exploring wet places and catching water animals, then this fun camp is for you! As we go, we will learn firsthand about the animals and plants that depend on water including ourselves!***
July 6 - July 10 EcoArt:
You don't need to be an artist to come to EcoArt. We'll use nature to inspire us to recreate what we see or create something completely new. An artist will visit us during the week to help us all get creative!
July 13 - July 17 Wild in the Woods
An adventure-packed week of boat-races, hikes, animal games, and wild play.
July 20 - July 24 Fairy Houses & Gnome Homes
Do you know anything miniature and made of magic? Explore Audubon through the eyes of fairies and gnomes, looking at nature up close!
July 27 - July 31 Water Wonders
Discover animals that live in ponds, marshes, and streams.
Splash in our streams and catch aquatic animals in the river.
Aug 3 - Aug 7 Animal Hideouts
Our voices, games, and singing usually scare everything within miles away. Are they running, jumping, flying, and slithering away or are they simply hiding? We'll look in trees and under leaves for their hideouts and recreate the shelters in the forest.
Aug 10 - Aug 14 Birds and Bugs
Study the fascinating birds and insects that live around us.

Camp Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM- 4 PM
**Non-member tuition fee includes a $35 membership to the National Audubon Society and the Audubon Center at Bent of the River!
