Forté Dramatic Productions launches its second season with the hauntingly brilliant JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN PARIS. This musical revue features the songs of French songwriter Jacques Brel and explores life through a cycle of songs ranging from the comical to the profound. JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN PARIS originally opened Off-Broadway in 1968 and was made into a film in 1975; it has enjoyed many revivals including the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway revival in 2006. With songs tackling such subjects as love, death, and sex, it is decidedly a show for mature audiences and offers insightful lyrics and beautiful music.
