Public Enemy's DJ Lord
BIO
Dj LORD is a key member of the iconic group Public Enemy, legendary turntablist and multi-genre Dj. His style is a unique combination of precision cuts, lots of bass and unexpected mixes that keep crowds worldwide rocking.
While growing up in Savannah, GA, LORD was exposed to the 80's Philly Dj scene by a cousin and set his sights on learning the craft. Heavily influenced by industry pioneers such as Dj Cash Money, Dj Jazzy Jeff, Grand Master Flash, Jam Master Jay, Mix Master Ice, and Terminator X he quickly learned key scratches and started incorporating them into his sets. His own style rapidly developed.
By 1999, LORD's expertise as a battle Dj as well as an all round performer was noticed by Professor Griff of Public Enemy, who was looking for a new Dj due to Terminator X's retirement. A month after meeting, LORD was on Public Enemy's 40th World Tour. Since joining as a permanent member, he's been an integral part of the group from production to touring. The rest is history.
As a DJ, LORD has done it all. He has performed at everything from world class events like the Grammy Awards to festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury. He has played at the top clubs in USA, Asia, Australia and Europe and has numerous battle titles including U.S. Finalist in I.T.F. and DMC. He has even been called the Bruce Lee of turntables. LORD is one of the most versatile Djs in the game. While Dj battles and Hip Hop are the foundation of his career, LORD is also widely recognized in the Dubstep arena for production and performance. No matter the genre, his high-energy shows seamlessly fuse turntablism with impeccable music selection that keeps crowds screaming for more.
Having mastered the art of Djing, LORD started to pursue his second love, producing. He has produced tracks for Public Enemy and with Dubstep groups TrillBass and HULKand he's just getting warm.
LORD is currently touring with 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Public Enemy and his solo Raising HELL Tour.

The Sixteen Bars Hip Hop Orchestra is a movement of like-minded emcees and musicians who preserve and relive the classic hip hop we all love. Lead emcee's Mc Sub Zero, Longshot and Apollo XV are backed up by talented musicians from some of Atlanta's most popular acts, including Entropy and Dubconscious. Whether rocking out Run-DMC or keeping your head up with Dead Prez, by infusing live instruments with classic hip hop swagger, they create an intense and fun experience that will take you back and leave you there.

Rock Most (born Rodney M. Powell) is a hip hop triple threat (MC/Producer/DJ) that calls Atlanta, Georgia home. Raised in Ravenna, Ohio he began rapping the age of eleven years old. His love for hip hop naturally transformed into deejaying and eventually music production. He moved to Atlanta after graduating high school and immediately began immersing himself in the local scene. Over the years he has produced and/or recorded with such greats as Chuck D and Professor Griff of Public Enemy, Diamond D, and Mr. Mike of South Circle as well as a number of Atlanta mainstays.

After enjoying moderate success as 1/3 of his group MSEIZE, Rock Most went solo in 2009 and toured with "FLO (For Lovers Only) to a great reception not only in the US but as far away San Jose Costa Rica. His 2011 release Rise & Shine received critical acclaim and produced two college chart-topping singles "Rock With Me" and "Pass Em' By. Chad Radford of Creative Loafing Atlanta referred to the LP as "What hip hop should sound like in 2011".

In 2013 Rock Most is releasing a series of 4 EPs entitled "RMFM". The First installment "The Spring Collection is being released on April 3rd (his birthday) and features an appearance from El Da Sensei of the legendary Artifacts on the song "We Can't Wait" as well as additional production from Rahgroove and TrĂ¼.ski The Transmitter.

"RMFM is my equivalent of a self-titled project. I think it exemplifies who am as an artist and just a person in General. There's songs like the title track in which the acronym stands for Rock Mother F*****N Most and others where I'm Raising MY Fellow Man or Reflecting My Favorite Moments" Says the artist when asked about the meaning.

The listener can expect a balance of thought provoking, relatable lyrics with a dash of fun-loving feel good music that Rock Most has been noted for in the past. The RMFM series is mostly produced by Rock Most, but also features guest appearances by Diamond D and others providing a blend of classic head nodding tracks with a fresh modern production value. At the end of the day it's very clear that Rodney Makes Fantasic Music.
