Bija Choir Indian Story Concert: Five Men In A Cart
The Bija Children's Choir presents its 5th Annual Cultural Story Concert, this year based around an East Indian folktale, Five Men In A Cart, a humorous story about the importance of having common sense!  Along with the 42-member Bija Choir, special guest artists include Anil Oberoi (owner of Buddies Pizza) telling the story, Sahar Pinkham on tabla drums, Bob Afifi on flute, Bollywood dance directed by Julie Marques, Kindred Voices, and special 7pm appearance by master Carnatic vocalist Ananda Kuttan.  A treat for all ages!

During the break between the 4pm & 7pm shows we are offering an Indian dinner plate made by the Himalayan Restaurant available in the Arts Ctr Dining Room for $10.  Included is lentil soup, veg curry & rice, naan, dessert, and a drink.  Advance purchase recommended.
