Revue Nouveau
Vaudeville is alive and kickin, and the Resonant Rogues aim to prove it with their new variety show, Revue Nouveau. Be prepared to be mesmerized by the danse orientale and cabaret antics of Khalima, "the dancing madwoman" of Richmond Virginia. Sideshow Matt brings danger to the stage using everyday items in ways that were never intended. Sparrow, of Asheville, NC, will take you back in time with her fusion of vintage vernacular jazz dance with modern belly dance. To top it all off, she will put the high flying swing in things with her partner Keith Smith. All of this excellent entertainment will be set to the live music of the Resonant Rogues of Asheville NC, playing old-fashioned originals with vocal harmonies, accordion, guitar, banjo, violin, and double bass. The Rogues will also play a set of dancin tunes before and after the stage show. Dance lesson included!
