EARTH GROOVES
Linking us to the Earth and to cultures around the globe, Clearwater presents Earth Grooves - a wonderful evening of music and dance from traditions that have uniquely close relationships to nature and the Earth.
The concert features West African Legend, Abdoulaye Diabete, The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers and the Agua Clara Andean Ensemble.The event will be hosted by renowned musician, composer, conductor and storyteller, David Amram.
The performance will include moments full of energy and celebration, and moments that are contemplative and reflective.
The evening will also include short poetic readings about our relationship to nature and dialog among the performers about how their cultures approach and express this.
We offer a V.I.P. reception at 6 pm featuring 'The EarthTones' - an a cappella group, and father and son musicians David and Jacob Bernz. Local wine and cheese will be served. V.I.P. tickets will include seats in the front rows at the concert.
