Fat Friday 2015
Fat Friday lights up the New Orleans Mardi Gras tradition in downtown Manhattan to celebrate an equal mix of charity and revelry, a righteous combination of live Cajun music, New Orleans food, dancing beaus and beauties, and a big fat dose of NOLA Love.
This night to remember kicks off at our new, dream venue, the Angel Orensanz Foundation, with the always righteous Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution, the very best in downtown cuisine, and of course, costumes, parades and beads--lots of beads.
The festivities will benefit the arts and culture charities: The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, The Roots of Music, and FIGMENT.
Revel in the high energy, foot-stomping gumbo of NOLA rhythm from Brother Joscephus & The Love Revolution, the liberating hymns of Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir, and sweet NOLA sounds from DJ Douggie Style.
Savor off-the-menu, delta-inspired dishes from the best downtown restaurants--from Peasant's jambalaya to Aroma's muffaletta and Lasso's crawfish pizza.
Treat yourself to one of our signature priceless NYC Nites or one of our many other silent auction offerings.
