Join us for Dance4Peace/Community Hug Awards on Saturday, April 11th.This family-friendly annual concert is a celebration of youth taking ownership of their choices by actively committing their time, talents and energy to creating and presenting dance works that promote peace and positivity! Featuring the Red Clay Dance Youth Ensemble with additional performances by Red Clay Dance Academy, Bryant Youth Professionals, Kuumba Lynxx- Urban Dance Projex, University of Chicago-Woodlawn Dance Dept.
This year's Community Hug Award honorees are: Theaster Gates, Rebuild Foundation, Donnie and Che "Rhymefest" Smith, Donda's House, Inc. and Homer Bryant, Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center (CMDC)
