GALA HONORS - 7:00pm
The NDIGO GALA honors achievers who have made significant contributions to the community. Video presentations are shared with the audience. Jazz Enchantment will be hosted by Chicago media personality, Candace Jordan and Mantra for Good Founder, Sonya Jackson. Known as one of the Top 25 Most Fashionable Chicagoans, Jordan is a former model appearing on over 20 national magazine covers. She is the Social Columnist for the Chicago Tribune and hosts her own internet show. Jordan is involved in numerous charitable organizations including the Joffrey Ballet Women's Board and the Ronald McDonald House Auxiliary Women's Board at the Ann & Robert H.Lurie Children's Hospital.
Sonya Jackson is the former President of the BP Foundation and Senior Global Business Advisor for BP's Global Social Investment Business Unit. Jackson believes that "Good people can change the world" and started the Mantra for Good organization to unite people to collaborate on projects that improve lives and change the world. personalities.

Showtime! Dianne Reeves and Gregory Porter, today's contemporary award winning jazz artists presents a 90 minute show that promises to be spectacular and remarkable.
Dianne Reeves is an American Jazz Singer who has been one of the leading exponents of the genre since the 1980's. Her credits include five Grammy Awards for best jazz vocal album. Winner of the 2015 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album, "Beautiful Life" showcases Dianne's sublime gifts in what is a melding of R&B, Latin and pop elements within the framework of 21st Century jazz.
Gregory Porter was named 2015 International Artist at the second annual Jazz FM awards in London on June 10, 1015. He is also a Grammy Award-winning American jazz vocalist, songwriter and actor. Porter won the 2014 Grammy for best jazz vocal album, "Liquid Spirit". He is delightful in a jazzy folksy bluesy unique way, and his smooth vocals will shine through on this fine summer evening at Symphony Center.

The After Party is a club like atmosphere party where the guests have a dancing good time with desserts and after dinner drinks. The tuxedos, gowns and champagne are flowing. People dance into the wee small hours. Over 21 Only.

ABOUT N'DIGO Foundation
Located in the heart of violence and protests are Chicago's precious youth. The N'DIGO Foundation seeks to develop opportunities for students to follow their dreams by honoring their great achievements with Merit Scholarships. Proceeds from the Gala allow N'DIGO Foundation to provide a minimum of 10 scholarships which range from partial to full tuition. Each teen is chosen by a blue ribbon committee of educators after submitting a written essay, and formal application.
