Intermediate/Advanced Acro Intensive with the Fantastic Four
The curriculum being shared has been designed to solidify your current practice, and help take it to the next level. The objective of this Intensive is total immersion: time to learn new skills; training techniques to make you stronger and more adept; boatloads of conditioning; and a deep dive into the fundamentals.
Over the course of four days we will train and play to refine the basic language of Acro, studying specific poses such as reverse star with variations, foot to foot, foot to hand, hand to hand, slacker-variations, goofy and monolimbs, transitions between these poses, washing machines, and Thai massage sequences.
We will explore Dutch style acrobatic concepts that utilize tempo and momentum, as well as standing moves like Vlinder (high butterfly), high bird, two-high, hand to hand, and trio work.
Each day will incorporate YogaSlacker and Monkey conditioning, inversion training, and hand-to-hand balancing as appropriate for the level of the student. Sessions will be structured to incorporate tools for effective communication in partnership, safety with spotting, and adherence to the principle of honest self-assessment.
Pre-requisites for the Intensive: front plank, free shoulder stand, throne, back plank, star, reverse star, side star, foot to hand, and thigh stand.

Sat: 10-12, 2-5
Sun: 9-12, 1-3
Mon: 10-12, 2-4:30
Tues: 10-12:30, 2-4:30
**Refund policy: Full refund before July 10th (minus processing fees), 50% refund before July 17th, no refund after July 18th.
