Gnocchi Workshop with Chef David Ross of Abbondante & 50 Local
Gnocchi Workshop: A traditional Italian style of pasta, gnocchi helped power the
Roman Legions as the empire expanded across the European continent centuries ago.
In this technique-driven workshop celebrating this timeless pasta, Chef David will show
you exactly how to prepare from scratch these pillowy light dumplings perfectly
every time. Students will leave with everything they need to pair their creations
with different sauces, from traditional potato gnocchi to more innovative flavor
combinations.
You will taste the gnocchi in several applications and practice making the dumplings yourself.
Come hungry and feel free to bring your own reusable containers if you so desire. We will have extra on hand if you forget. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing, as you will be standing at a work table for 1-1.5 hours.
You will receive:
1.) Hands-on instruction
2.) All recipes printed for home use
3.) A "stuffed full of goodies" gift bag from the chef
4.) Recipe take homes - please bring your own reusable containers if you wish! We will also have them on hand if you forget.
5.) Food samplings and beverage tasting during the class.
6.) A TABLE apron
This is a hands on class. It is perfect for Tweens/Teen and Adults.
Alcoholic beverages will be available at a special discounted class price. ID required.
