Join us again this year for the McCormack Ranch Sheep Dog Trials in the Montezuma Hills of Rio Vista. Enjoy a beautiful day with your family on a historic Rio Vista sheep ranch overlooking the Delta and Mt. Diablo to watch 92 world class sheepdogs and their handlers competing on a classic Hill Farm trial course. The top working Border collies in the Western United States will be competing here.

DATES: March 27, 28, 29, 2015 from 8am-5pm.
LOCATION
The McCormack Ranch is located at 8192 Montezuma Hills Road, Rio Vista, CA. The event entrance is at the junction of Emigh Road and Montezuma Hills Road. Parking attendants will guide you to the parking area which is 2 miles inside the entry gate. Parking is free, but limited. We encourage carpooling.
SHEEP DOG TRIALS
This is an Open Full National Style Course based on the historic Scottish Sheepdog Trial Course.
There will be three one-day Open Trials. These events are sanctioned by the United States Border Collie Handler's Association and the Oregon Sheepdog Society.
Prizes to 3th place each day.
TICKET INFORMATION
General (14 years and over): $15.
Youth (5-13 years): $5.
Children (0-4 years): FREE

Tickets are available online through Brown Paper Tickets or from our ticket locations- Books RioV, Pets R All, Galleria Bra Room, and Fool Crow in Rio Vista.
LAMB BBQ LUNCH by McCormack Ranch
A lamb BBQ will be served on Saturday from 11am-2pm. The cost is $10. You may purchase a ticket at one of our ticket locations. Limited tickets will be available onsite.
KID'S CORNER
On Saturday and Sunday from 10am-12pm, Soroptimist International of Rio Vista will provide wool crafts and demonstrations. Free to all participants.
ON SITE:
Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic blanket and low-seating chairs. Outside food may be brought in.
Food will be available for purchase by Rio Vista Youth Services.
No pets allowed.
