An ancient fairy tale launches a 21st-century journey into the risks and rewards of vulnerability through raw, rigorous dance and compelling poetic narrative.
The opening night Gala continues TuMM's KiCKER tradition with a wine reception, a full performance of "Brief Kingdom" on the Tulsa Ballet Studio K stage, and a post-performance conversation with the artists. Doors open at 7:15, curtain at 8:00.
Performances continue April 25, 8pm and April 26, 3 pm.
:: For the first time TuMM's season-end production will feature two casts! ::
April 24's Gala and the April 25 performance will feature Alicia Chesser as the Princess and Ari Christopher as the Frog, with Mona Hatter and Aleks Weaver in those roles respectively on April 26. Katelyn Yeary and Rachel Brabham complete the cast in all three shows. Each of these dancers brings such rich and unique poetry to each part -- you might just want to see it twice.
