#1 New York Times Bestseller Ransom Riggs (MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, HOLLOW CITY) opens the first annual YALLWEST Festival in Santa Monica.

Ransom Riggs will be joined by the super cool & award-winning Samohi Jazz Band. If you're really lucky, we'll talk Ransom into sharing one of his super cool & should-have-been-award-winning short films with us as well. (We really don't know why they're having that Tim Burton guy shoot Miss Peregrine's but whatever.) Either way, let's just say you're in for a heck of a keynote ride.

As with all YALLWEST ticketed events, your purchase entitles you to either a $5 food voucher or $5 donation to Santa Monica Libraries. Vouchers can be collected at the YALLWEST Booth on the day of the festival. We will have In & Out Burger, the Grilled Cheese Truck, Border Grill, Dogtown Dogs, Coolhaus, Get Shaved (Ice), and other food vendors on site to accept your food voucher. That's right. You heard us. Great taste - in books and grub!
