Visit two projects in the Seeley Lake area done by our local nationally recognized TU chapter. Learn more about their groundbreaking efforts as you tour restoration work on Morrell Creek, an historic Blackfoot tributary and spawning ground for westslope cutthroat and bull trout. You'll see a fish-friendly irrigation diversion and fish screen that is now allowing passage of these endangered species to spawning beds upstream. Then tour the Clearwater Canoe trail above Seeley Lake where a recent project to restore and stabilize stream banks and minimize erosion and sedimentation has been completed.
Free shuttle provided from the Grizzly Claw Trading Company in Seeley Lake.
