"Organic Gardening at Home (or An Introduction to Organic Gardening)" will be Saturday, February 28th beginning at 9:30 am. This 2.5 hour workshop has been presented 2x for MOON/OEFFA in Oxford and elsewhere in Preble County. It is an energetic coverage of the major points of organic gardening, including site selection, improving soil fertility, composting, planting layouts, growing methods, season extension, garden tool choices, and much, much more. Craig takes a few breaths here and there, and pours his experience and passion into the presentation - and welcomes questions!
Participants Recieve:
Both participant individuals and couples will receive a $10 voucher to 2015 season Stoney Hedgerow Farm offerings at the Oxford Farmers Market.
Each workshop will also feature two drawings among participants for Oxford Farmers Market "Market Bucks" for $20 and $10 respectively. Support other market vendors!

Craig Harkrider, agronomist, educator, Oxford Farmers Market grower/vendor (known for premium tomato plants, raspberries, peppers, and garlic, among other things), and Preble County farmer with 30 years experience in organic/sustainable agricultural practices will be presenting two gardening workshops to assist new and experienced gardeners alike to prepare for the upcoming growing season. Craig is known for his energetic, passionate presenting style and breadth of knowledge as he presents on his favorite pastime - growing healthy food! Each workshop be held in the Berean Bible Church in the Westgate Shopping Center, 5150 College Corner Pike, Oxford, OH 45056 (the shopping strip by Wendy's on College Corner Pike).
