A POP CULTURE JOURNEY PART II: FROM FUNK TO PUNK
Don't miss part II of SOULSKIN Dance's electrifying pop culture performance trilogy!
Join choreographer Adrianna Thompson and her team of extraordinary artists on a journey from funk to punk (with a little opera thrown in).
The evening launches with a fashion show featuring Eimaj Design by Jamielyn - think "wearable Road Warrior". Audience members will have the opportunity to bid on the designs during a silent auction at intermission.
DJ CAMCON returns, spinning tracks from Aretha Franklin to Bizet's Carmen to Iggy Pop, leading the dancers through a world of funky grooves, operatic kitsch and hard hitting beats.
Media designer William Brinkert's creative vision completes the scene - part house party, part multi-media happening.
And that's not all! Join the dancers for a post show dance party, lead by DJ CAMCON.
