Now's your chance to dance with the bride and groom, do the tarantella, stroll, slide, or hop in the conga line for an evening of Italian excess you won't soon forget. It's an exciting evening of "audience immersion" theatre where you become one of the family from the moment you walk in. Audience friendly, participate as you want, it's just like an actual wedding - an irreverent, comic wedding. This is either the family you grew up with or the one you wish you had. Either way, you'll have a great time. Rated PG-13.
"After 13 years, Donna Giardino has run out of excuses and finally said "Yes" to her live-in love, Rocco Romatelli to the thrill of their friends & family. Everyone from the neighborhood (well, almost everyone) is invited to their long awaited nuptials. Lots of friends, lots of family, lots of food, lots of fun and lots of surprises are in store. Donna's best friend and wedding planner, Taylor, is determined not to let anything ruin "his" wedding, and he's going to do everything in his power to keep Donna's five-time divorced party-girl maid-of-honor Lucia under control. One bridesmaid dropped out, Rocco's Mama left her hearing aid at home and Donna's brother came out of hiding for the big day. Even Donna's estranged mother shows up along with her new "younger" husband. Father Zamboni is trying his best to get them married off before the insults fly. But where's Rocco's best man? And who's got the rings?"
