SnoCo Together Community Skills Fair

Food, fun and art!  Join us for a day of hands-on practice to learn  or improve  your gardening, cooking, crafts, and basic fix-it skills.  We will have workshops, panel discussions and kids' activities at this free community event.  

Graham Kerr, internationally known culinary and television personality (Galloping Gourmet) and award-winning author, will give the kick-off speech at 10:30 am about how to make healthy, creative, lifestyle changes and how to convert habits that harm into resources that heal both ourselves and others in need.

Topics for workshops and demonstrations will include beekeeping, backyard chickens, canning for beginners, garment repair, non-toxic alternatives, growing your own food, fermenting, basic car car and much more! Learn how to keep rabbits, fix your bike and make your own soap, all in one day! At the end of the afternoon, enter to win a drawing for gift cards to great local businesseslike Lil Sprout Nursey and Garden Center in Mill Creek and Firewheel Books and Beans Café in Everett.

Check out the Fiber Arts room, where local experts at knitting, crochet, spinning and fleece will share their knowledge, answer questions and show you amazing projects!

There will be also be fun art and educational programs for kids and demonstrations by local youth dance and arts groupsso it's fun for the whole family! Childcare is provided free all day.

This third SnoCo Together Community Skills Fair is free and open to all! Free food.  Walk-ins are welcome and pre-registration is encouraged.
