Pioneer Pop-Up Dinner
A truly unique dinning experience is coming to Jackson Hole. Dishing Magazine presents the Pioneer Pop-Up dinner held at the Ringholz Gallery (140 E. Broadway Suite 6) on January 30th and 31st. It will be a night of amazing Food, Art, and Wine that will create an intimate and exclusive dinning atmosphere not to be missed.
The dinner will feature art from Amy Ringholz, wine from Jackson Hole Winery, flatware from Jenny Dowd, and decor from Fluer De V. The food is the concept of Chef Rene Stein. Stein has worked in multiple Michelin star restaurants, most recently at SEASONAL in New York where he maintained their Michelin star rating for the three years he was there. He moved to Wyoming late last summer to serve as executive chef at The Cakebread Ranch before moving on to pursue Pioneer, a Pop-Up concept featuring "New Mountain Cuisine."
"Creativity in the kitchen is what makes me get up in the morning" says Stein. "I want to create a food experience showcasing local ingredients and techniques in a new way." This same sentiment holds true for the other artists involved with the Pop-Up. Ringholz studio manager Kara Adomaitis explains. "It is a great way to bring people together over art in a way that might not happen on its own." Jenny Dowd who makes pottery at her studio in Alpine elaborates further. "All these creative people coming together is what inspired me to be a part of this Pop-Up Dinner."
Rene's "New Mountain Cuisine" showcases regional produce, meat, and dairy; even the salt he uses comes from Wyoming. Pioneer Pop-Up at the Ringholz gallery is a one of a kind event that showcases multiple aspects of the creative process coming together for only two nights.
