The 2015 Northwest Guitar Festival will be held in Seattle on April 17-19, 2015 at Cornish College of the Arts. The festival will include daily technique and guitar orchestra workshops, as well as performances and masterclasses. Festival artists include: Benjamin Verdery, Michael Partington, Michael LeFevre, Alexander Dunn, Stephen Stubbs, Mark Wison and Kevin Callahan. The event will feature both an adult classical guitar competition, and a youth competition for individuals 18 and under. For more information visit: www.northwestguitarfestival.org
UPDATE 4/9: General registration is $100 and includes admission to all events EXCEPT the concert by Michael Partington which is now sold out. The competition is free, but entrants are required to register.
Youth registration of $50 is available to those age 18 and under (and accompanying adults) this does NOT include tickets to either of the evening concerts (Verdery or Partington) and does NOT include participation in the guitar orchestra. Youth registration does include participation in the youth competition if desired, and entrance to any of the daytime concerts, lectures and the technique workshop.
