Growing up the son of a man who has defined country music's possibilities, Noel Haggard has enough life experiences to more than completely inhabit the things he sings about...and does it with the same natural phrasing and richly sonorous baritone that one would expect from someone with such a loaded last name.

BRAD PETERSEN,
Grew up in Monterey Ca, Has loved being involved in music on any level for most of his life. Being a full time single father influenced his decision to put music aside for many years. Until moving to Chico 8 years ago, He eventually involved himself in local radio at KZFR 90.1 sitting in as programmer for a variety of shows including blues and country, two of his favorite genres of music. He now hosts his own show 'Studio 416' every sat. and is co/host of 'Basically The Blues', both shows currently air on KZFR.

For the last year, Brad has been playing music in a new project called 'Brad Petersen and Friends'

a great mix of local musicians, playing mostly country music of his heros like Merle Haggard /Waylon Jennings//and Kris Kristofferson, and a few origionals of his own. He has been friends with Noel Haggard for many years, since they were both teenagers, This will be the second time 'Brad Petersen and Friends' will open for Noel, It will be a great time for those who love good 'outlaw country' music.
