SAVE THE DATE! The Annual Friends of NAPE Foundation Fundraising Event - Saturday January 31, 2015  at the Irvington Club  3121 N.E. Thompson, Portland, OR - Doors open at 5:00 pm  Event from 5:30-7:30 pm

$25 per person; $20 for students; children under 12 Free

Featuring:

Dr. Nii Okaikwei (Peter) Okantey, President of the PALM Institute, Accra, Ghana. Dr. Okantey holds a BA in Business Administration and a Master's in Management and Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific College; and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship. In 2009 he received the Young Alumni of the Year Award from Warner Pacific College. Dr. Okantey also holds a teaching certificate from the Presbyterian College of Education in Ghana, West Africa and a Public Administration Diploma from the University of Ghana in Ghana, West Africa.  

Matt Essieh, Born in a village on the Ivory Coast and now President and CEO of EAI Information Systems, Beaverton, OR. -- featured in the book "To Be A Man Is Not Easy: Stories of Ghanaian Emigrants"

NAPE Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization based in Accra, Ghana, West Africa and Portland, Oregon, USA. It exists make higher educational accessible for Ghanaians by offering student scholarships.

The PALM Institute of Strategic Leadership is a two-year accredited college located in Accra, Ghana. It offers diplomas in Business Administration and Computerized Accounting, a Certificate in Strategic Leadership, and a series of Professional Training Courses.
