The Symposium
Celebrate Eros, the god of Love in this immersive adaptation of Plato's seminal work.
Shows at 8pm on February 7, 13 & 14 in Terrault Contemporary.
In ancient Greece the symposium was an after-dinner ritual, a forum for debate and revelry. At a banquet to honor the victory of Agathon's first tragedy at the Dionysia, in which dramatic works are presented and judged, join the greatest citizens of Athens gather for a party that will go down in history.
Though all ages are welcome to attend, parental guidance is strongly encouraged. Wine will be served during the event to those of legal age, and Eros-inspired visual art will be exhibited.
