11TH ANNUAL DECEMBER GALA

L.A.S. Therapy Network and Development Group, Inc., Non-Profit Organization, "Laughter is the Best Medicine" Health and Arts Program, celebrates the 11th Annual December Gala at Scarritt Bennett Conference Center Laskey Hall, 1008 19th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37212, on December 28, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.  The gala event is scheduled every December 28th annually.  

Come dressed in formal attire, bring your family & friends, then enjoy our catered reception featuring the Cremona Strings Ensemble Too and songbird Kathryn Adams, enjoying our visual arts exhibit. and more in specifically designed theaters, education halls, and/or vendors areas for children and adults.  This event is free and open to the public.  A recommended $10.00 tax exempt donation is accepted at the event to support the activities.

Our activities include, but are not limited to the following:

Children's Theater:  Master of Ceremony Juvenile Court Clerk David Smith; Ridley Dance Studio performances; Cremona Strings Ensemble Too and Development Group, Inc.; Tristan McIntosh Trio; Moves & Grooves Dance Studio; West Side Taekwondo Martial Arts Exhibition; gift raffle; and more.

Visual Arts Exhibit:  Artists Michael McBride, Joseph Love, Jr., Ross Jordan, Sandy Spain, and Donna Hampton Lewis display their unique paintings, sketches, and other creations while educating guests who appreciate their exhibits.  

Adults' Theater:  Celebrity Emcees NewsChannel5 Meteorologist/Talk Show Host Lelan A. Statom; 88.1FM Fisk University Jazz Radio Director/Producer/Talk Show Hostess Sharon Kay; and/or Actress/Vocal Artist J.Karen Thomas share the stage with winning banter during the evening activities.

Comedians Tim Long, Jay Fitts, and John Bowman keep you laughing; and dance the evening away with Jack and the Sol Katz Band.

Silent Auction:  Henig Furs has provided silent auction Mink Stroller and hat.  To view these beautiful furs visit the Grace's Plaza Henig Furs location.  Other silent auction items include, but are not limited to, Dollywood Theme Park Family Passes, Nashville Symphony Tickets,  Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar Gift Cards, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens & Museum Passes,  Sam's Club Gift Card, fragrances, and much, much more.  Come prepared to take home the winning bid!
