Dr. Scott Hahn
Dr. Scott Hahn will be the keynote speaker at the Men's and Women's Catholic Conference of Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 21, 2015 to be held at Hackett Catholic Prep, 1000 West Kilgore Road, Kalamazoo, MI.
The theme at this year's conference is "Joy to the World: The Family, The Eucharist and The New Evangelization" where Dr. Hahn will be presenting three addresses.
Dr. Hahn is the author (or editor) of over forty books, including best-selling titles Rome Sweet Home and Understanding the Scriptures: A Complete Course on Bible Study. A graduate of Grove City College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (summa cum laude), Dr. Hahn received his Ph.D. in Theology from Marquette University (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa). After ten years of youth and pastoral ministry experience in Protestant congregations, along with serving as a Presbyterian minister, he entered the Catholic Church in 1986. Dr. Hahn is a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Mundelein Seminary and serves as the Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He is the founder and president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology.
Doors open at 7:30 a.m., with Mass celebrated by Bishop Paul Bradley at 8:30 a.m. Presentation by Dr. Hahn begins at 10:00 a.m. Lunch included along with opportunities for confession and Eucharistic adoration.
