Vermonters For Liberty annual meeting
We are holding another Vermonters for Liberty annual meeting on January 24, 2015, at the statehouse in Montpelier.
You will hear speakers in the House chamber on topics likely to come up this year in the legislature, plus ideas for the future, like alternative voting systems, and how cryptocurrency can bring about more economic freedom. We are proud to feature Paul Dame, a V4L friend who, on his second attempt, won election to the State House in November of 2014, and is taking his liberty agenda to Montpelier.
We are including a 20-minute breakout session by county in the House chamber before lunch so you can get to know your liberty-loving neighbors and make plans to follow up after the meeting. After the breakout session, we'll move to the state house cafeteria for a potluck/BYO lunch. We'll have our traditional "soapbox" period, when anyone can have a few minutes before the crowd to present what's on their mind.
It would be great to have a liberty-oriented band rocking under the golden dome again, but to keep the ticket prices down, we'll need donations for any extras -- like sound equipment lent for the afternoon, and a band who wants to volunteer their time for liberty. Please let us know if you are interested in providing these.
