Perfume Making with Hi Wildflower
Learn the natural perfumer's craft in this immersive workshop + bespoke scent creating class! This intimate class - up to 10 students - allows for you to explore a beautiful library of essential oils, resins and absolutes from all over the world. As a special treat for Valentine's Day, we'll also learn about essential oils that have longed been considered aphrodisiacs, to help you concoct a scent-elixir that captures your romantic, free and open spirit!

We'll cover the basics of natural perfumery, exploring Top, Heart and Base notes, scent families, perfume accords, carrier oils, and perfume history.

This is a warm, inviting space to explore your olfactory prowess, the scents that draw you in and the ones you've never heard of!

Our workshop will explore the art of creating your own natural perfume! A lot of this will be sniffing, learning the history, taking notes, discussing our perceptions, the vibe of each scent.

1 cotton drawstring bag

ABOUT TANWI AND HI WILDFLOWER:

Scents are stories. And it's this quality that draws Tanwi, writer and author of the forthcoming novel BRIGHT LINES (Penguin 2015), to create perfume and body care collections. The ability to build little stories, encapsulating a vibe, a vista, a place or a time we wish we could linger. Her botanically based creations are meant to recreate a feeling  joyous, centered, or grounded. She uses sustainable and ethically sourced botanicals from all over the world, so wherever you roam you can feel connected to the faraway allure of Egyptian neroli, Indian jasmine or Somalian myrrh. Also, you'll smell fantastic too!
