Take the reins and get your hands dirty as you tackle the challenge of climate change. During this 8-week leadership course you will design and implement a campaign to advocate for solutions to curb carbon emissions in the Pacific Northwest. Begin by investigating immediate impacts of climate change on your neighborhood, local wildlife and the Northwest. As a team, select an issue to champion and then test your leadership skills as you implement a plan to have your voices heard. This is an action oriented course for translating your ideas into change. Fulfills 12 service hours toward graduation requirements.
