Level 1
Just beginning or want some more practice with the fundamentals? Want to be more creative and expressive or learn to generate ideas on the spot? This class is for you! Level 1 introduces you to improv skills in an open, supportive class structure. Longtime OKC Instructor, actor, musical and improv director Kyle Gossett will guide you through the basics, dissolve your nervousness, and help you see the joy and opportunity in every moment onstage. You'll learn a mixture of exciting Whose Line Is It Anyway? short-form games, group games, and OKC Improv original games!
Class meets from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. each Saturday (January 17 - March 14) and will be instructed by Kyle Gossett.
Kyle Gossett has coached, directed, created, scored, and been a member numerous narrative improv groups, including Bardcore, American Improv Horror Show, Suburban Superheroes, Villian: The Musical, and Ballpark Theater Company, which played at the famous Chicago Improv Festival.
Class enrollment is limited to 12 students.
