Apply what you've learned in Level 1 to begin mastering the fundamentals of long-form improv, scene work. Students will demystify what makes a scene comedic: creating and playing comedic premises and games, creating characters with distinct points of view, playing relationships between characters, and playing the platforms out in scenes. Students will learn how to initiate scenes strongly, identify what makes the scene funny, play characters with strong points of view, identifiable relationships, and create and identify strong base realities.
Prerequisite: Must have completed a Level 1 class or gain permission of an instructor.
Class meets from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. each Monday (January 19 - March 16) and will be instructed by Tim Huckeby
Note: There is no class the week of Valentine's Day, Feb 14 & 16
Class enrollment is limited to 12 students.
