Cabaret and Comedy Show!
Something Productions presents Aidan Park (the artist formerly known as Sung Min Park) and JoAna Gray in "Cabaret and Comedy" on January 25, 2015 at 7:00PM in downtown San Francisco. Musical Direction by Steve Sanders. JoAna is the cabaret and Aidan is the comedy, although there will be some mixing it up and maybe even a duet.
Come join us for an entertaining evening at the Native Sons Building, Phoenix Annex, 414 Mason, Suite 406 (between Geary and Post), next to the Ruby Skye Lounge. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door. After the show, please join us for a glass of wine.
Note: Proceeds will go to the Asian Pacific Islander Wellness Center in San Francisco whose mission is fostering health and wellness with emphasis on individuals with HIV/AIDS. Serving people of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities and immigration statuses. Aidan Park playfully captures the attention of any audience big or small with his vast array of life experiences all of which make for a hilarious, yet, moving and thought provoking act with a strong message of "stay true to yourself!"
Aidan tours all over the country headlining for respected comedy clubs, fundraisers, parades, and community centers. Aidan is also a professional actor and proud member of Actor's Equity Association and Screen Actor's Guild. Aidan has toured with several Broadway tours, and made appearances on Comedy Central, Tosh.0, NBC, TV Guide Channel, and Hulu TV. Aidanpark.com
JoAna Gray has always loved music and that passion took her to the stage. She has appeared in productions of "Anything Goes", "The Pied Piper of Hamelin Town" and at the Fringe of Marin One Act and RAW Festivals. Cabaret highlights include shows "Shades of Gray" in Larkspur and "Broadway Babes" at The Marsh as well as performing as a featured singer in the Society Cabaret Showcase, Seydways Studios Showcases, Octavia Lounge and Studio NPG to name a few.
JoAna has taken Master Classes with Tony Award winners Judy Kaye and Faith Prince. She was accepted into the St Louis Cabaret Conference and Festival, where she was honored to work with Marilyn Maye, Billy Stritch (her accompanist for the Festival Showcase), Ann Hampton Callaway, Tedd Firth, Faith Prince and Alex Rybeck.
