These live action films tell the stories of kids who are learning how to spread their wings. Along the way, they have adventures, test their courage and make decisions they have to stick with. Join them, and you'll wander a city's unfamiliar streets, leap past your birthday, turn a hospital room into luxurious digs and even help the moon get back to the sky.

Cancer Unit Cribs
(Ibrahim El-Salaam, USA, 2014, 4:18 min)  In English.
This youth-made movie, directed by a patient at Seattle Children's Hospital, takes viewers on a hilarious hospital tour that will make them sick with envy!

Little Moon Lost
(Jennifer Treuting, USA, 2011, 5:41 min) Nonverbal.
The moon fell out of the sky. Can a boy help it get back home before night falls?

The Dive
(Delphine Le Courtois, France, 2013, 9:51 min) Mostly nonverbal, some French with English subtitles.
A boy stands on a high dive, about to step into the unknown. Is he ready to fly?

The Girl and the Gondola
(Abbe Robinson, Italy/UK, 2013, 11:42 min) In Italian with English subtitles.
Ten-year-old Carla dreams of following in her father's footsteps, but 900 years of Venetian tradition is standing her way.

Only Gilt
(Lara Del Arte, Australia, 2014, 11 min) In English.
When a boy believes his dog is responsible for the death of his best friend's bird, he makes a lot of iffy decisions before figuring out what is the right thing to do.

Sprout
(Ga-eun Yoon, Korea, 2013, 20 min) In Korean with English subtitles.
A family is preparing for their grandfather's ancestral offering but they've forgotten sprouts. Young Bory goes out to buy some. This is her first time alone in the city.

Notes for parents: One film (The Girl and the Gondola) has a single instance of mild coarse language. In another film (Sprout), a child accidentally takes a few sips of rice wine.
