Join us for a special evening where we reflect upon 10 years in burlesque! 10 years of rhinestones, costumes, tassels, pastie mishaps, weird corporate gigs, ill-fitting shoes that are too sparkly to get rid of, the stupidly cold Jewel Box Theatre dressing room, wigs, hair flowers, Brown Paper Tickets, feathers, fabric stores, sequins, fringe, spirit gum, more costumes, liquid latex, promo pictures, shitty dressing rooms fake eyelashes, BHoF, show after show after show after show after show after show andboobs!

So what does a decade mean? Its so much more than the sum of your stuff in your costume room (or basement, or closet, or plastic storage bins)! Its friendships forged in glitter and shared nakedness, self-empowerment, feeling surprise, shock, disgust and slightly turned on, all at once, facing your fears, trying your patience, creating your chosen family, finding community, laughing so hard you cry, validating our voices and in short, having the best times of your life!

Ten years in our culture marks something serious; its not just a hobby or a fleeting experiment anymore. Chances are after 10 years of something, whatever it is you've been doing that long, occupies a special place in your heart and life.
