Sharing Circle for Personal Growth
Sharing Circle for Personal Growth

I want to reduce stress in my life.
I want to be more present.
I want to enjoy life more.
I want to feel more connected to my friends and family.
I want to let go of negative thinking and judgments.
I want to feel loved.
I want to be creative.
I want to feel passion in my life.
I want to have a sense of purpose and meaning.

The sharing circle has helped me to open up, to be real and vulnerable with my emotions and create a community around those values.
In my personal journey that was not enough for me to find personal transformation and what I found valuable is a community of people who like me want to understand themselves and want to move into a more authentic, meaningful and passionate life for themselves. In one word people who want to do the work, inner work.
Many emotional struggles, fears, recurring thought patterns often hold us back from being who we really want to be.
The Sharing Circle for Personal Growth can support you in your intention and hold you accountable for it.

I am taking inspiration for this circle from the men circles and the young adult circles that I have been part of and facilitated in the past few years.
We will be using many processes including self-inquiry, dreamwork, breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques to open up and understand the thoughts and judgments that hold us back and keep us stuck in patterns of fear, shame, depression or anger.
When the real cause of the stress is seen, it's easier to let go of the old patterns that are not serving us anymore and create new patterns that are aligned to our deepest truth and nature.

This model is based on peer facilitation and after I facilitate the group for a few months I hope that people will feel comfortable enough to support one another in the work.
What I like about this model is that the person who is doing the work is in charge of the process and can use his/her intuition to guide the exploration on a specific issue, while still having the support of the facilitator to keep him/her on track and also benefiting from the group collective insights.

The meetings will be held at Bedlam Coffee every two weeks on Thursdays from 6.30 to 8.30 and it will be open to new people for the first 3 meetings, after that we will close the circle for a 3 month period to allow the people who are committed to deepen their work in a safe and trusted container.
