The Teaseday Club
The first Tuesday of every month The Teaseday Club takes over The Davis Square Theatre for an evening of Boston's best burlesque, stand-up, music, magic, and more.
The detailed line-up can be found on our website but here's some basic information that's true of every show:
All show take place at The Davis Square Theatre, which is on the basement level of 255 Elm St., Somerville MA. Enter through Saloon. The theater is easily accessible from the Davis Square T-stop (red line). There are also several municipal parking lots in the area and meters on the street.
Doors open at 7:15 p.m., the show starts at 8:00 p.m. and is usually over around 10:30 p.m.
Seating is first come, first seated. The space is pretty small, so most seats are awesome, but if you show up late, don't expect the best seat in the house.
There is no drink minimum, but we pay our rent with your bar tab. Pre-gaming or grabbing a drink somewhere else hurts our performers.
The is no photography or videography during the show. If we catch you, we'll take your camera/phone away. And we will catch you.
We like to dress up. Who doesn't? We won't turn you away if you're wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but we might laugh at you during the show.
When you buy your ticket, you'll be asked which performer you are there to support. That's how we know to whom we should give the Great Teaseday Cookie. No, you don't have to support a specific performer.
Tickets are $15. We send out a discount code to members of our e-mail list which knocks $5 off the cost of an advance ticket. Don't you like to save money? Head over to our website and sign-up!
