Aaron Walker Trio

A tantalizing night of music full of tang, tart, and all out tastiness!

Having studied and performed with two of the world's greatest guitarists, Joscho Stephan and Gonzalo Bergara, Aaron is now launching a new project, focusing on a compelling mix of new Gypsy Jazz compositions along with the standards. While Aaron has been treating people with truthful tunes as director of the tremendous Swing Je T'aime since 2009, he thought it was time for something tinier and more inTimate. He will be joined by rhythm guitarist Michael Isabell and Swing Je T'aime bassist Jason Malmberg.

Mi Vida Strings is a fantastic venue owned by working professional musician and local teddy bear, Luthier, and funny guy Eric Trujillo. Being a working musician himself he opened this intimate venue out of a love for music and a desire for people to see extraordinary musicianship in a personal environment. Shows at Mi Vida Strings always make lasting memories and precious moments.

Short Bio:

Aaron has purposed to create a stage presence focused on engaging the audience with an entertaining, friendly, and good-humored performance. Aaron studied guitar for over 20 years before purchasing his first Gypsy Jazz guitar in 2008. He progressed in the style quickly, recently earning a spot as Joscho Stephan's rhythm guitarist during US tours. While having earned multiple college degrees in music, Aaron considers his practical education to have come from some of the great musicians he has performed with, such as Joscho Stephan, Bjorn Thoroddsen, Robin Nolan, Denis Chang, Richard Smith, Greg Koch, Dave Beegle and Olli Soikkeli. Currently, Aaron is a student of Gonzalo Bergara.
