Diablo Room Comedy Club : Ngaio Bealum
Come to Pyramid Alehouse in Walnut Creek for the "Diablo Room Comedy Club." Located in our Private event room this club has the feel of an inner city comedy club, with half the price of tickets and travel, but the same amount of laughter. This months lineup...
Headliner Ngaio Bealum
Best known for hosting High Times comedy events, Ngaio Bealum is an unusually intelligent stand-up whose gut-busting comedy nevertheless reflects a pot lover's perspective of the world. Also a talented rapper/musician, Ngaio Bealum has appeared on "The Sarah Silverman Program" and in the feature film "Nine Months."
Feature Jules Poser
Jules Posner is like if the cool older kid who used to buy you beer ended up becoming a comedian instead of a meth dealer. The most relaxed man in California, Jules mixes laid-back observations, laid-back riffing and laid-back flannel shirts into an act that has won him constant bookings at every major comedy club in the Bay Area. He is one of those comics whose writing and delivery make standup seem like it's just a funny person talking off the top of their head. Reality isn't far behind the illusion; his riffing paces his written material in quality.
Feature Victor Cruz Perez
Victor is a San Francisco Bay Area based stand up comedian who started out as a dishwasher at a comedy club. Dreaming of one day performing on stage, he worked his way up to becoming one of the top Bay Area performers and producers. Victor has shared the stage with such talents as Sinbad, Doug Stanhope, Eric Griffin, and Broken Lizard. Finding humor in the good times, the bad times, and the awkward times, Victor draws upon his own life experiences to entertain (sometimes at his own expense). Both clean and not so clean type of sets provided.
