Dreamtime: Tales from Down Under -- Puppets Off-Broad Street's Winter Puppetfest!
Emus, crocodiles and frogs -- oh my! Experience the magic of "The Land Down Under" in this interactive performance by Barefoot Puppet Theatre. Meet some truly unusual animals as a mother platypus tries to get her young one, Billy, to sleep by sharing three stories from the Australian Dreamtime.
Will he ever go to sleep?
Find out the answer as you discover how the emu became a flightless bird and why the platypus looks so strange. You'll even meet a giant, bloated, ocean-swallowing frog. In this show anything is possible -- perhaps you'll even be invited onstage to help save the world? *Recommended for ages 3 and up*
