Winter Wonder
From a Bach Christmas Cantata to Hanukkah folk songs with a bit of Winter Wonderland sprinkled in for good measure, this will be a delightful music-filled evening sure to put everyone into the holiday spirit.
All three levels of the Northern California Children's Chorus will perform separately and together. Violins, flutes, oboes, and cellos will round out the cast of entertainers.
The list of music includes songs about winter and the blustery snowy days, songs about the night stars twinkling in the night, about the celebration of lights called Hanukkah, and captivating piece by John Rutter, I Wish You Christmas. The final number includes Let It Snow and Winter Wonderland. There is a reception for all immediately following the concert.
Children five years of age and older are encouraged to attend this evening of Winter Wonder!
