Snowy Mountain Acro Adventure
Looking for an opportunity to play in the snow this winter?? Come join us in the Eastern Sierra for a long weekend filled with Acro play, hot springs, snow shoeing, sledding, ice skating on frozen Lakes, hiking, eating delicious food, and time to take in some stunningly beautiful mountain scenery.
Each day will include an AcroYoga session, the option to go on an outdoor excursion, and 3 nutritious chef prepared meals.
We will be staying at McGee Creek Lodge on Crowley Lake, 10 minutes south of famous Mammoth Mountain. This rustic wilderness lodge offers comfortable and cozy warm rooms with historic cabin styled decor. Pure natural mountain water serves the lodge which is nestled at the foot of the vast Eastern Sierra wilderness, John Muir hiking trails, and just minutes from the famous Mammoth ski slopes. McGee Creek Lodge is rich in historical tradition of the early West.

Whats included in the price:
**Lodging for 3 nights (Thurs, Fri, Sat)

**Group AcroYoga sessions
**Outdoor excursions (hot springs, snow shoeing, hiking, sledding, ice skating) note: some gear rental may be a small additional charge
Not included:
**Transportation... We encourage and will help organize car-pooling. More details as the date approaches.
**Any alcoholic beverages you would like to enjoy... BYOB people
**Skiing and/or snowboarding on Mammoth Mountain... If you choose to take a day on the slopes, this will be on your own bill
**some gear rental if you choose
Worthy of noting, McGee Creek Lodge is (as we mentioned) 10 minutes south of Mammoth Mountain and about 30 minutes north of the town of Bishop. Mammoth is a world famous ski destination, and Bishop hosts the largest array of world class rock climbing in the country (arguably the world). If you are a climber or a skier/snowboarder, it might be worth taking an extra day to go explore these places. :)
Who are Kathy & Alex???
Kathy Gade, creator and owner of Body Balance is a certified AcroYoga Teacher, Thai Massage Therapist, Nutrition Educator, Chef Extraordinaire and Handstand Enthusiast. Born and raised in California where she has been training and teaching a variety of Movement Disciplines in the Bay Area since 2008. Coming from a background of competitive Diving and Water Polo she brings strength and grace to her teaching with a focus on technique to allow everyone to feel success at their level of practice. She is one of the few BadAss female AcroYoga bases teaching classes and workshops locally and internationally. A passion for teaching Nutrition and preparing healthy meals completes her vision for creating community around whole body wellness.
Alex Witte, sponsored by Boreas Gear Company, is an outdoor enthusiast and adventurer extraordinaire! She has spent countless hours exploring the wilderness California has to offer, through backpacking, mountaineering, camping, and rock climbing. Her Badass climbing skills have been featured in Rock & Ice Magazine as well as California Climber. Her home is in the mountain air. Alex is also a certified yoga teacher, and a Landscape Architect by profession. Chef and Creator of ChowVida, she is truly a magician in the kitchen with recipes featured in Buzzfeed!
