Curious Palate Wine Tasting Class: Pinot Gris
Perhaps you already know that Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio are the same wine? What's surprising is that the gray-red grape that makes these wines is a mutation of Pinot, the mysterious mother grape to all 'Pinot' wines (e.g. Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris etc). Pinot Gris is famous for its refreshing citrus flavor and zesty acidity...and is famous for stumping Sommeliers! Join in for this class and learn more about Pinot Gris wine, its taste and some great food pairing recommendations.
The Curious Palate is a tasting class series that is designed to explore the world of wine, beer and spirits and learn your palate in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The Curious Palate is for the taster who wants to take their personal wine, beer and spirits experience to a new level by building knowledge...while having fun! Space is limited; reservations are required. Curious Palate Tasting Classes are $25.00 per person and includes the beverage tasting, paired food bites, and engaging education.
