Curious Palate Wine Tasting Class: Sauvignon Blanc
The name Sauvignon Blanc means "Wild White" and the grape is related to Traminer with origins in the South of France. Sauvignon Blanc falls in the drier end of the white wine spectrum and has a wide range of flavorsfrom citrusy to pear-like to grassy and herbaceous. In this tasting class, we will investigate the fundamentals of its taste, learn the regions where its produced and get a few creative ideas for food pairings.
The Curious Palate is a tasting class series that is designed to explore the world of wine, beer and spirits and learn your palate in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The Curious Palate is for the taster who wants to take their personal wine, beer and spirits experience to a new level by building knowledge...while having fun! Space is limited; reservations are required. Curious Palate Tasting Classes are $25.00 per person and includes the beverage tasting, paired food bites, and engaging education.
