Picture book authors are authors of our hearts and a new book by a local favorite is a cause for celebration. Join us for a special story time with Tim McCanna as he launches his new book, Watersong, a dazzling journey of a fox seeking shelter from a rainstorm told in glorious onomatopoeia.
Tim, a local children's author and musician, is the author of Teeny Tiny Trucks and Bitty Bot. He's produced music and narration for award-winning story apps, picture book trailers, and the opening theme song for the Brain Burps About Books kid lit podcast. Tim serves as Assistant Regional Advisor for the San Francisco/South chapter of SCBWI, the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
