Politics & Prose, in partnership with the DC Public Library, will host Golden Globe-winning actor Chris Colfer for the newest book in his #1 New York Times bestselling series, The Land of Stories. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., will open with a brief Q&A, and proceed to a signing. A signing line ticket is free with the purchase of the new book.

In the third tale of the Land of Stories: A GRIMM WARNING, the enchanted region is in trouble. A message from the Brothers Grimm has re-opened an old mystery, and Conner Bailey is called upon to solve it. Meanwhile, the next Fairy Godmother, Alex Bailey, can't seem to get the knack of granting wishes. But a battle is looming and a secret is about to be revealed that makes all else seem minor...

Event Guidelines

The event is free and open to the public. Seating will be first come; first served.

The event will open with a brief Q&A.

Chris Colfer will sign books. You MUST present your ticket to enter the signing line. A ticket will be included with the purchase of each copy of THE LAND OF STORIES: A GRIMM WARNING.

Entrance to the signing line will be in order of book purchase.

Books may be purchased beginning on Tuesday, July 8 through Brown Paper Tickets.  

Books and tickets will be available only at will call at MLK Library beginning at 4pm on July 14th.  

Books with tickets will also be available at the MLK Library on the day of the event while supplies last.

Each customer can purchase up to 8 copies of LAND OF STORIES books to be autographed, 2 of which can be backlist from the series.

Only those with tickets will be allowed in the signing line.  Children under the age of 12 will need a ticket. The accompanying adult does not require a ticket.

There will be NO books from home, NO personalizations, NO posed photographs and NO signed memorabilia.
